Description
Provide Radiographic Examination Services for any Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System patient located in Central Alabama Veterans Health Care Systems facility, Tuskegee, East Campus or Montgomery, West Campus. The Contractor shall provide all services necessary to perform Radiographic Examination Services for any Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System patient between the hours of midnight and 8:00 AM Sunday through Saturday. (There maybe times when services are needed other than times specified.) All services will be performed at the requesting Central Alabama Veterans Health Care Systems facility, Tuskegee, East Campus or Montgomery, West Campus. Contractor will use Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System equipment, film. Processor and any additional items required completing the requested procedure. The films for the requested procedure will be left at the requestor=92s ward or clinic and be processed by Imaging Service the next workday.=20 Any interpretation that is needed will be performed by Central Alabama Veterans Health Care Systems on-call Radiologist. NOTE: The services specified in this solicitation may be changed by written modifications to the contract. Other necessary personnel for the operation of the services contracted for at the VA will be provided by the VA at levels mutually agreed upon which are compatible with the safety of the patient and personnel and with quality medical care programming. The services to be performed by the Contractor will be performed in accordance with VA policies and procedures and the regulations of the medical staff bylaws of the VA facility. The services to be performed by the Contractor will be monitored by the COTR. The Contractor when requested by means of an individual written request, which has been authorized by the Chief, Imaging Service or his/her designee, shall furnish the services specified in this contract to Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS). NOTICE: Anticipated issue date is March 17, 2003. Request for hard copy solicitation and/or inquiries must be in writing to Delilah Jones Contracting Officer @ 706-733-0188 ext. 7869. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be available at the URL address. Interested parties are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
