Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: WEB ADDRESS: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The intent of this sources sought synopsis is to identify potential qualified small business (SB) offerors for a fixed price contract for maintenance, testing & repair of cathodic protection systems. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, will use the responses to this sources sought synopsis to make appropriate acquisition decision for the planned fixed price contract. This is not an announcement of availability of a solicitation, nor is it a means of generating a planholder?s list. After review of the responses submitted regarding this potential acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published in the Federal Business Opportunities if the Government intends to continue with the procurement. The general scope of work will include all labor, materials, supplies, tools, transportation, equipment, and supervision necessary to obtain maintenance, testing & repair of cathodic protection systems at Naval Air Station, North Island and San Clemente Island, San Diego, California. The contract will be a Fixed Price type contract. The contract term will be a base period and four one-year option periods. NAICS code is 541990, Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services. Small business size standard is $6 million. The Government will evaluate sources based on past performance and technical experience. Interested firms capable of providing the services required are requested to notify via email transmission pattonlj@efdsw.navfac.navy.mil no later than Monday March 31, 2003. The email should include a brief description of the firm. Do not submit capability statements. All information submitted is at the offeror?s own expense.
