Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after (APRIL 3, 2003). From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. Gateway technical assistance is available at admin_support@pgmail.daps.mil. In addition, to receive E-MAIL NOTIFICATION OF SOLICITATIONS you must register with the USER PROFILE feature of Gateway. Solicitation will be available for downloading on or about APRIL 3, 2003. ITEMS: This is an acquisition for 19 separate signal flags, Each representing various letters, numbers, and commands associated with International Code. All flags are made of ACRYLIC bunting and are made in accordance with MIL-F-2692 and drawing 16696 sheets: 6B, 7A, 8D, 9C, 10E, dated 6/18/1971. NSN?S begin with 8345-00-(926), (935), (480), and (914). Quantities will range from 30 to 350 flags per NSN with a combined quantity of 3,141 flags. Deliveries will be made to New Cumberland, PA 90 days after award is made with two first article samples of each flag due 45 days after award. Please note that this acquisition uses a reduced lead-time. Details for each flag will be available with the solicitation. All materials are to be supplied by offeror. Contractor must have Duns number, Cage Code and be CCR Registered. Call 1-888-227-2423 or via the internet at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil for information on registration. Buy America Act applies.
