- Description
- The USDA Forest Service Region 5, Pacific Southwest, seeks potential sources under an Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-76 Cost Study to perform services for Road Maintenance on National Forests throughout the State of California. The U.S. Forest Service, Region 5, manages a road system of approximately 44,000 miles. The roads vary from single lane native surfaced roads that are closed to public use to double lane paved roads that are open to the public year round. The roads are primarily located in mountainous terrain. The study will include road maintenance, road construction, and road reconstruction activities that are currently being performed by Forest Service employees. The study will include both scheduled and emergency response activities. This listing should be considered neither final nor all-inclusive at this time. While the study being advertised is certain to occur, the amount of contractual-related information available for publication at this time is limited. In accordance with FAR 5.205(e) and in order to provide industry sufficient information to make the necessary business decisions, this requirement will be synopsized a minimum of one additional time as new information becomes available. For the portions of work that pertain to the Service Contract Act, the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this study is 237310 (Street Maintenance or Repair) and the size standard for small business is $28.5 million. For the portions of work that pertain to the Davis-Bacon Act Wages, the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this study is 237310, (Road, except elevated, Construction) and the size standard for small business is $28.5 million.
