Description

This is a sources sought synopsis to place a 9? X 2? x 203? reinforced concrete guide way beam foundation as specified on construction drawings. The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary. Contractor shall embed in the guide way, Government furnished, anchor bolts, vertical compression supports, vertical tension restraints, transverse support restraints, and longitudinal restraints. All embedded parts shall be located and set plumb to within 1/16 ? inch and held rigidly in place by contractor provided template. The Government will perform all earthwork including grading, subgrade prep, structural bedding, compaction, and backfill requirements. All reinforcing steel shall be deformed bars conforming to ASTM A-615. Concrete shall be 4000 psi, type V, and concrete design materials and construction shall conform to ACI Standard Building Code Requirements for Reinforced Concrete, ACI 318. Performance period for this project shall be 60 days after Contract Award and Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued. The information requested is not a solicitation announcement for proposals.
