Description
This Statement of Work (SOW) explains the details for replacement of 8 pressure switches and associated equipment at the reuse pond located near facility 1100, Luke AFB, AZ. The work covered by this SOW consists in furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, appliances and materials and performing all operations in connection with the complete replacement of eight pressure switches and associated equipment at reuse pond located near facility 1100. DISCONNECT AND REMOVE EXISTING SWITCHES: Remove old pressure switches from controls of 3 water pumps and dispose at contractor?s expense. INSTALL NEW: Contractor shall install new compatible snap action adjustable pressure switches. Replace seal-tight and connectors. Install Hydroranger Ultrasonic Level Transducer and wire to system. Program pumps on and off settings. Install Alternator so that pumps alternate each time they are called for. TESTS: After installation is complete and at such time as the Contracting Officer may direct, the contractor shall conduct an operation test for approval to ensure the equipment is operational and provide training to base personnel. The equipment shall be demonstrated to operate in accordance with the requirements of this specification. The test shall be performed in the presence of the base electrician and utilities technician. The contractor shall furnish all instruments and personnel required for the test and training. WARRANTY: The contractor shall provide a 1-year warranty on all labor and material. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: Work under this contract shall be completed within 30 calendar days after receipt by the contractor of written Notice to Proceed. One site visit at Luke AFB, AZ, will be scheduled for vendors who are interested in submitting a quote. The site visit date will be provided to only those who respond with their interest to quote by the response date of 21 Mar 03.
