- Medical Supplies - Potential Sources Sought Military Hospitals - (Army, Navy, Air Force) TRICARE Regions 9 and 10 Gravity IV Administration Sets - Standardization Point of Contact: Cindy Ingrao, Clinical Consultant, Tri-Service Regional Business Office, TRICARE Regions 9 & 10, San Diego, CA. Telephone: (619) 532-8517. Potential sources sought to participate in the regional standardization of Gravity IV Administration Sets. TRICARE Regions 9 and 10, a military integrated delivery network (IDN), comprised of Army, Navy and Air Force medical treatment centers in California are in the process of standardizing Gravity IV Administration Sets. If your company currently holds or is in the process of obtaining a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center-Philadelphia (DSCP) for Gravity IV Administration Sets, your company is eligible to participate in the standardization process. Please respond by Email: cingrao@reg9.med.navy.mil and provide your company name, address, point of contact, telephone, fax and E-mail address and answers to the below listed questions no later than April 1, 2003. For questions, please call (619) 532-8517. 1. Does your company manufacture, sterile, disposable primary infusion gravity administration sets with needle-free ports? If so, what is the port type? 2. Are your products available through Prime Vendor? 3. Under what brand does your Company manufacture or distribute your products? 4. How does your company assure the accuracy of your administration sets? 5. Are your primary gravity sets made of a pliable material? Does this material contain PVC or DEHP? 6. Are your primary gravity sets latex free? 7. Are your primary gravity sets single use? 8. Are your primary gravity sets available in macro and micro drip styles? If, so what drip factor range? 9. Do your primary gravity sets come in a variety of drops per milliliter? 10. What is the volume of ?dead space? in your ports? 11. How much ?dead space? exists between the most distal injection port and the distal end of the IV tubing? 12. Does your primary gravity set have a filter within the tubing? Where is this filter located? 13. What needleless system accessories are compatible with your primary gravity sets? 14. Can your primary gravity sets be used with all types of solution containers? 15. What configurations are available for your primary gravity sets? 16. Do your gravity sets have at least two needleless ports? 17. Do your gravity sets have stopcocks? If so, what configurations are there available? 18. What lengths do your gravity sets come in? 19. Does your company manufacture a primary gravity set with a burette, buratrol, or similar volumetric device? Do they come in macro and/or micro drip? 20. What type of clamp does your primary gravity set have? 21. Do your primary gravity sets come in vented and non-vented styles? 22. Do your primary gravity sets have a valve that prevents back-flow from the injection ports or piggyback bag to the primary IV solution? 23. Does your company manufacture gravity sets for anesthesia applications? If so, what are the configurations? 24. Does your company have a manifold available for anesthesia use? 25. Does your company provide customer service 24/7? 26. What types of educational tools or materials do you have for this product line? 27.
