Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate a contract for the acquisition of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Skid Mounted Oil-Free Air Compressor Units. The requesting authority for the Air Compressor Units is the Cryogenics Support Equipment Team in support of the V-22 Program at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE). The air compressor assembly shall be a skid mounted, self contained, electrically powered unit. The air compressor assembly shall contain all the necessary components to deliver oil-free air conforming to the requirements specified in the forthcoming solicitation. The air compressor units will be procured using the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items, which includes a Statement of Work (SOW), and Contractual Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) for data item deliverables. The Government intends to procure as a small business set aside. Award will be made based upon Best Value, Technical, First Article Inspection, Price and Past Performance(included in the Best Value determination). The air compressor units are to be procured as Non-Developmental Items (NDIs) and/or Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) items. The total inventory objective will be procured under a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract consisting of a basic (minimum quantity) award and maximum estimated quantity for a five (5) year period. All contractors seeking award must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contracts cannot be awarded to contractors unless they are registered.
