Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following Airborne Video Receptacle (AVR) and 6 GB Storage Video Data Cartridge (VDC). This requirement is limited to Orbital Sciences Corporation, 20301 Century Blvd, Germantown, MD 20874 as the only responsible source for Airborne Video Receptacle, Smith Industries part number D99R1000001-01, qty 3 due to the command and control parameters and stringent weight and dimension characteristics. Specifications include: Dimensions must not exceed 9.3" x 6.5" x 4.4" and is restricted to 11 lbs or less within a ruggedized container; Input power: 28 VDC; No external cooling requirements, convection only; Minimum operating temperatures ? 40 degrees to + 71 degrees Celsius; Meet or exceed MIL-STD-810E for environmental airborne platforms; Unit will have the capability to acquire and collect four channels of RS-170 video and two channels of audio simultaneously; Unit will have the capability to be controlled by present instrumentation discrete control logic implemented in the pallet and the aircraft. 6GB Storage Video Data Cartridge, Smith Industries part number D5142000003-12, qty 5. Any firms believing that they can provide the above listed Airborne Video Receptacle and 6 GB Storage Video Data Cartridge clearly showing that their ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data and without causing programmatic hardship to the program, may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after this notification is published.
