- NAICS Code: 611710. FSC Code: U008. The Combat Direction Systems Activity (CDSA) Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, VA intends to procure engineering/technical support to provide maintenance of submarine training curricula and their related course materials. The contractor shall provide maintenance for the following TRIDENT courses: -623-0123 - TRIDENT I.C. Principles; A-623-0124 - TRIDENT I.C. Advanced Maintenance; A-623-0126 - Digital Electromagnetic Log (DEML); A-113-0178 - Fire Control Advanced Maintenance (MK118) (DDRT MK6 Mod5); A-113-0185 - Fire Control Advanced Maintenance (MK2 Mod3) (DDRT MK6 Mod5). The contractor shall provide maintenance for the following SSN courses: A-623-0121 - SSN I.C. Principles; A-623-0122 - SSN I.C. Maintenance; A-102-0007 - AN/WSN-7A Maintenance; A-102-0332 - GPS Combined Maintenance; A-102-0387 - (NAVOPS) Navigation and GPS Basic; A-193-0354 - WSN-3 Maintenance. The contractor shall provide maintenance for the following NSSN course - A-623-0134 - AN/WQN-2 Doppler Sonar Velocity Log (DSVL) Maintenance. The contractor shall provide maintenance for the following HM&E courses: A-210-0017 - Structureborne Vibration Monitoring; A-210-0025 - Noise Reduction Petty Officer. Services will be required on site at the TRIDENT Training Facility at Bangor, Washington with occasional work in the Kings Bay, GA and Groton, CT areas. Personnel assigned to this requirement will require a minimum DoD Security Clearance of at least SECRET in order to perform classified tasking as required. Personnel assigned to this requirement must be able to maintain access to the TRIDENT Submarine Base (Bangor, WA), Trident Training Facility (TTF), Trident Refit Facility (TRF) and have in place a current ?Military Critical Data Agreement? (DD2345 form) for access to the TTF Technical Library. Personnel assigned to this requirement must have completed the course of instruction on Personnel Performance Profile (PPP) ? based Authority Instructional Materials (AIM 1) in accordance with NAVEDTRA 131. They must have three years minimum experience developing curricula using the AIM 1 software and three years minimum experience in the operation and maintenance of the equipment used in the curricula listed above. The experience may be concurrent. The requirement is proposed as a competitive procurement Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) type contract with base year and four options - total of five years. Proposed start date of requirement is 1 October 2003. Solicitation to be issued in the spring of 2003 with proposals due approximately 30-45 days after issue.
