- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection Service, New Orleans, LA is seeking a contractor with International Association for Identification (IAI) certification for technical consultation and to train laboratory staff to become expert witnesses in the area of fingerprint analysis. A fixed price contract for a base year with 2 option years will be awarded. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items is incorporated by reference. Price and past performance are evaluation factors.
