Description: This project is to replace 8 existing wood shingle roofs on the historic Baker Station. Existing wood shingles and water proofing underlayment are to be removed, and time given for the Forest Service to inspect for and repair any damaged substructure members found. Then a new wood shingle roof and felt underlayment will be installed. Work site is located approx. 50 miles northeast of Sonora, CA on the Stanislaus National Forest. Est price range is $25,000.00 - $100,000.00; est start work date is April 28, 2003 with 55 days of contract time. Solicitation will be available on the FEDBIZOPPS approximately April 11, 2003
