- MT OMAD 18(36), MINUTEMAN MISSILE BASE ROADS, Judith Basin, Fergus, and Wheatland counties, Montana. Initial notice posted to FedBizOpps on 3/12/03. BY ISSUE OF THIS MODIFICATION WE ANNOUNCE THAT 1) THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS, THAT 2) THE COMPLETION DATES FOR THE BASE AND OPT. B HAVE BEEN REVISED, AND THAT 3) THE BASE QUANTITIES HAVE BEEN REVISED FROM THE INITIAL POSTING. Quantities shown below for Opt. A and Opt. B have not been revised, but are included here for your convenience. This project will be bid with a Base schedule plus two Options (Base, Opt. A, Opt. B). The work consists of road reconditioning and aggregate resurfacing: 65.49 km (Base), 13.84 km (Opt. A), 8.79 km (Opt. B). The project consists of contractor sampling & testing; construction schedules; temporary traffic control; watering for dust control: 14,500 cu m (Base), 3,000 cu m (Opt. A), 2,000 cu m (Opt. B); untreated aggregate courses: 115,600 t (Base), 23,800 t (Opt. A), 15,100 t (Opt. B); flagger hours: 3,402 hrs (Base), 484 hrs (Opt. A), 308 hrs. (Opt. B); and other smaller items of work. Project is located approximately 165 km east of Great Falls, Montana. Work shall be completed by October 3, 2003 (Base); April 19, 2004 (Option A); and May 3, 2004 (Option B). Estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The following applies only to Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs): The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. DOT?s Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance, and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT?s Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at prime rate.
