- Description
- The John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan intends to purchase an Ethylene Oxide Monitoring System. The system shall consist of the following: 3 each Area Monitors for EtO and H202 (continuous ethylene oxide area monitor, microprocessor controlled, easy to read LED display, simultaneous audible and visual alarms, user adjustable alarm setting, continous self-checking diagnostics and functions; 3 each Ehtylene Oxide Sensors used with the area mointoring of EtO concentration in ambient air; 1 each EtO data acquisition module (computerized data acquisition system including touch screen monitor, zip drive backup, integral amplified speaker system, power conditioning unit, color inkjet printer, and application software; 3 each EtO remote display/repeater, receives ppm level and alarm information from area monitor, duplicates all display functions, led display, audible and visual alarm; 1 each calibration accessory which includes zero gas (hydrocarbon free) needed for testing; 1 each communication cabling, system hook-up and in-service, warranty and pre-installation guideline; 1 each optional extended warranty; 3 each Optional Sensor Exchange Program, provides scheduled exchange on pre-calibrated sensors. Please include trade-in discount (if applicable) of existing EtO Monitoring System which is broken and obsolete. Potential sources are invited to submit quotes, provided that they are accompanied by product literature. Quotations shall be submitted to the address listed herein or faxed to 313-576-1077, directed to the attention of Marilyn Dogan (001R-A). The government shall not be held responsible for the quality of fax transmittals. Proposals are due by Monday, April 7, 2003 no later than 4:00 PM local time, in room B4213 (if hand delivered) of the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201. The RFQ number 553-51-03 shall be clearly identified on all submitted materials. Proposals received after the due date will not be considered. This acquistion is set aside 100% for small business concerns. See numbered note 1. All questions must be submitted in writing addressed to the Contracting Officer.
