Description

Re-post of Presolicitation Notice - Project is located at Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota. Scope of work consists of repairing erosion on 12 storage igloos and 2 earthen barricades, constructing concrete wing extensions for the existing igloo headwalls, removing oversized rocks from the existing earth cover, placing additional earth fill and installing grout filled erosion blankets over 6 of the igloos. Project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. Project work is within a restricted area and Government escorts will be required. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990. This project falls under The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 19.10. Tentatively anticipate issuing solicitation on or about 7 Apr 03 with a preproposal site visit following two weeks after issuance of solicitation. Proposals will be due 30 calendar days after issuance of solicitation and all work to be completed within 180 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Specifications and drawings along with the solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website.
