Description
SOLICITATION NUMBER F34601-03-Q-0273, OC-ALC/PKXDA TINKER AFB OK 73145-3015, For additional information contact Kevin Walker/LPKBB/[405] 734-8780. This requirement is for the repair/overhaul of # 4 Air Supply Manifold, applicable to the F100PW229 engine. The government contemplates awarding a firm fixed price contract. The line item is as follows: 0001, # 4 Air Supply Manifold, 4710-01-308-0834NZ, P/N 4074520-01, 42 Each. The government's required delivery schedule is 42 ea, to be delivered within 30 days after receipt of order and/or reparable asset, whichever is later. Items will be delivered to FB2039, Tinker AFB. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 4 Apr 2003. The anticipated award date will be 30 May 2003. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: Pratt and Whitney Military Aftermarket Services, San Antonio TX., (CAGE code: 0ZB13) Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR 52.209-1. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be mailed out from this office. The solicitation will be available for download on the release date from www.fedbizops.gov. Additional information may be obtained from the Source Development Office, OC-ALC/BC, 3001 Staff Drive, Ste# 1AC85A, Tinker AFB OK 73145-3009. THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT REQUIRED TO DELAY CONTRACT AWARD TO REVIEW PENDING SOURCE APPROVAL REQUESTS (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation will be made available to interested parties through electronic data interchange. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
