NA This is a MODIFICATION to a previous notice first published in FedBizOpps on 28 Jan 03 under solicitation #DAAD16-03-T-0000, subject as shown above. The purpose of this notice is to UPDATE and CHANGE some of the information in that notice. The first upda te is to CANCEL #DAAD16-03-T-0000 and ADD #DAAD16-03-R-0014 which will act as the true solicitation number for this acquisition. In the 28 Jan 03 notice it was stated that this procurement would be a 'commercial purchase order utilizing simplified acquisi tion procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5.' This procurement WILL NOT be a commercial procurement, thus the solicitation and all requirements associated with it shall be done in accordance with FAR Part 15. Originally the 'quotation' was estimated to be released 'on or about February 21st'. The new estimated date for release of this 'proposal' is 28 March 2003. Offers will be due thirty (30) calendar days after the release date of the request for proposal (note the above due date is an estimate). The final CHANGE is the point of contact (POC) for this effort. The new POC is Ms. Tammy Taylor, Contracting Officer, and all inquiries regarding this solicitation shall be submitted to her attention at email Tammy.Taylor@natick.army.mil. Once the solicitation is released it will be avialable on the ASFI web site as well as the following: https://www3.natick.army.mil. No hard copies of the solicitation are anticipated to be distributed, however, if potential offerors would like to be notified as to when exactly the solicitation is released they should email Ms. Taylor at the address provided herein.
