- Description
- Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) intends to procure as all or none on a sole make and model basis to upgrade an existing Intecom S80+ Integrated Business Exchange (IBX) Switch to a EADS North America (formally Intecom) "PointSpan" Telecommunications Switch at Marshall Space Flight Center, AL. The upgrade shall include all necessary hardware, software, installation, implementation and training utilizing a Lease-to-Ownership Plan (LTOP) over a forty eight month term, with an initial one-time payment. Delivery and implementation shall begin not later than 6/6/03 and be fully operational no later than 12/19/03 which includes the full transition of all users in not more than seven (7) phases. Interested firms have until April 18,2003 to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities and offers. Such qualifications/capabilities and offers will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after April 18,2003 or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis/solicitation and will not be considered. A determination by the Computer Sciences Corporation to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open cost competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Computer Sciences Corporation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested per the attached Request for Proposals (RFP) containing the hardware bill of materials, software bill of materials, equipment trade-in listing and service requirements (Tables 1-38) which are located in the attached Word files. The RFP package also is provided with a Statement of Work , Technical specification, and is considered all relevant information for proposal preparation. The CSC RFP package and all attachments must be completed in order for consideration. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this Internet site for the release of any amendments, and clarifying questions and answers. For subscribers to the WWW who wish to obtain the relevant documents covering this synopsis, please access said information at http://procurement.nasa.gov as no hardcopy will be provided by this office. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by Computer Sciences Corporation.
