Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) plans to release a Two Step Seal Bid (IFB) for Human Resource Service Support and Administration at the Washington, DC and Fort Worth Currency locations. Release of the solicitation is planned for early March 2003. The solicitation will ultimately be distributed electronically via the Government?s electronic posting Web site at http://www.febbizopps.gov under the Department of Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing. FIRMS SHOULD NOT RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE BY REQUESTING TO BE PLACED ON A SOLICITATION MAILING LIST as it no longer exists. The applicable NAICS code for Human Resource Administration is 92313. The intended PWS consists of two distinct areas both functionally and geographically, they are: HR Policy development, analysis and implementation at Washington, DC and HR General Administrative Support at Fort Worth?s Currency Center. Award of a firm-fixed-priced contract with an Award Fee pool is intended NLT July 30, 2003, with a base year (commencing August 1, 2003) and four option years is anticipated. A decision on the acquisition approach has been approved in conjunction with the SBA Central Office and SBA Washington District 0353, and has been approved as a Competitive 8(a) set-aside under $3 million. The PWS and Performance Requirements Summary along with the Government QASP will be issued in the next several days. The formal synopsis and solicitation should be issued on or near 1 March 2003.
