Description

The USDA, ARS, Contracts Branch is seeking qualified contractors to participate in a competition for facilities operations and maintenance support services at RRC, SEP, JPC and USHRL located in Athens Georgia and Ft. Pierce Florida. Services include heating, ventilation and air condition; janitorial, electrical, electronic, plumbing and pipefitting, carpentry and masonry, painting, security, machinist, refrigeration, chemical storeroom/freight, scientific illustrations, receptionist/switchboard operator, mail, centralized copying and duplicating, emergency asbestos removal and grounds maintenance. The period of performance is expected to be April 2004 through September 30, 2004 with options to extend performance for 4 additional 12-month periods. It is anticipated that a Fixed Price IDIQ incentive fee contract will be awarded. The SOW is a fixed price performance based work statement with performance measures, and performance incentive/deduct plans. Offerors will submit past performance information, key personnel candidates and a price proposal at the time of proposal submission. The Government intends to make a best value award to the offeror who offers the best value to the Government. It is anticipated that the RFP will be release on or sometime after April 28, 2003. The requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Business under SIC code 8744, NAICS 561210 (Size standard $20.0).
