Description
NA SHIP REPAIR FOR SANDWICK, HICKSON, RODOLF, MATTSON, WESTMARK, PATTERSON, Solicitation DACW57-03-R-0012. Proposal due on or about 14 May 2003. Requirements contract for the small boats for a base year plus 4 option years. Non-personal services to perform annual overhaul, dry-docking, hull and machinery maintenance and repair, and general dockside ship repairs (which may also be away from shipyard at location of boats). Wet berth may be required for this contract. Contractor crane service shall be of suffi cient capacity and of suitable service to accomplish all task order items. Physical characteristics of the Small Boats are: SANDWICK ? 85? 10? hull length, 21? 10? molded beam, 5? 8? ft draft light, and 6? 2? ft draft loaded at 135 LT displacement; HICKSON ? 64? 11?? hull length, 16? 6? molded beam, and 4? 8? ft draft light, 5? ft draft loaded at 35 LT displacement; RODOLF ? 48? hull length, 24? molded beam, and 5? 10? ft draft loaded at 32 LT displacement; MATTSON - 45? 4?? hull length, 13? 5? molded beam, and 3? 6?? ft draft loaded; WESTMARK & PATTERSON - ? 26? hull length, 8? 6? molded beam, and 2? 6? ft draft light, 4? ft draft loaded at 6500 LB displacement. Request for Proposal available on or about 7 April 2003. Tentative due date is 14 May 2003. This procurement is open to both large and small businesses. The small b usiness is a concern, including affiliates, employing 1000 or less employees. Please indicate business size when requesting solicitation.
