Description

The Naval Air Depot, Cherry Point, NC intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a wholly owned Subsidiary of The Boeing Company (Boeing), P. O. Box 516, Saint Louis, MO 63166 for technical support services to develop Maintenance Source Data Packages to disassemble/assemble/clean/inspect/repair/test/troubleshoot and the Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) for Radar Bay Vent Valve, Cooling Fan Shutoff Valve, LCS Shutoff Valve Assembly and Primary Bleed Valve components. The period of performance for the resultant contract is seven months. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(1)(2)(iii) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Boeing retains all proprietary data rights to the existing source data and future updates. Consequently, Boeing is the only known source that would be able to develop the required source data packages to disassemble/assemble/clean/inspect/repair/test/troubleshoot and the Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) for Radar Bay Vent Valve, Cooling Fan Shutoff Valve, LCS Shutoff Valve Assembly and Primary Bleed Valve components.
