Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division intends to enter into negotiations for a firm fixed price contract on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis, to Force Computers Incorporated, 4211 Starboard Drive, Fremont, CA 94538-0175 for 30 each UltraSPARC IIi CPU boards (CPU-50T, P/N: 109872). Delivery of the items is FOB origin to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division China Lake, CA by 21 July 2003. Award will be issued under the authority of the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). The UltraSPARC IIi CPU boards have a specific set of performance requirements that are needed in order to meet the functional requirements of the CLUSTER POINTER system. The specifications are as follows: Minimum Requirements - Size/Form Factor: 6U VME bus standard, Dual bus slot; CPU Type/Speed: UltraSPARC IIi CPU, 333 MHz minimum; Minimum Memory: 1 MByte cache, 2 MBytes user Flash, 256 MBytes Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM); Operating System: SOLARIS 2.5.1, 2.6 Compatible; Temperature Range: 0 to +55 Degrees C (operational), -40 to +85 Degrees C (storage); Relative Humidity: Up to 95% without condensation; Electrical Power: +5 Vdc not to exceed 9.0 Amps, +12 Vdc not to exceed 0.5 Amps, -12 Vdc not to exceed 0.2 Amps; Network Interface: 2 ea. RJ-45 10/100Base T front panel network interfaces; Serial Port: Front Panel RS-232 serial port; Peripheral Interface: Wide/UltraSCSI interface, 8 bit front panel SCSI 50 pin fine pitch connector, 16 bit P2 Connector, 2 front panel PMC peripheral card slots minimum; Graphics Support: Data Cube XI 24+8 Turbo graphics controller; VME Bus Interface: VME 64 Interface (Tunda Universe-II or equivalent); Compatibility: Plug and Play compatible with existing CLUSTER POINTER system software and hardware without modification or development. Responses to this intent to solicit, other than from the source listed, will be required to submit information to verify their prior experience in UltraSPARC IIi CPU boards that meet the minimum specifications as stated above without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and delivery of the product to the war fighter.
