Description
Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, other items and services necessary for the removal of existing oil lubricated vertical turbine pump (to be disassembled and removed from Lackland AFB, TX). Contractor shall perform inspection of well with a video recording camera to maximum depth attainable (estimate 1500ft). Contractor shall remove and clean out any encountered oil. Two copies of the video will be made for Civil Engineering in this contract. On site assembly of new Byron-Jackson Heritage or equal water lubricated vertical turbine water well pump, column pipe, ? inch stainless airline, shafts, column bearing, and discharge head with all subject components for a volume of 1130 GPM Vs 408 ft TDH. Pump depth is approximately 180 ft. Electric motor 150 hp, 3 Phase, 60 cycles, 440 volts. Contractor shall also install new LMI Chemical Feed Pump, foot valve, and injection valve with tubing. All work shall be in accordance with all local, state, and federal codes to include the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (T.C.E.Q.), the American Water Works Association (A.W.W.A.), and the National Electric Code. This procurement is restricted to 100% small business. NAICS code is 333911 and applies to this procurement. Wage Determination Number 1994-2521, revision 25(06/21/2002). All parties must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.202-7004 and 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR must be obtained before award can be made. The following questions and answers are hereby attached. THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS HAVE BEEN ASKED IN REGARDS TO SOLICITATION REFERENCE NUMBER F9DEU123540100. BELOW ARE THE ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS. Question #1: The large wiring coming from the controller to the pump, will they be replaced by ?CE? personnel or by the contractor? Answer to question #1: All electrical work shall be done by the contractor. All must be sized with proper overloads. Installed pump must match controller. Question #2: Will the ?discharge well head? need to be re-hab?d? Answer to question #2? The existing well head can be reconditioned as required.
