Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to award a sole source contract to Radstone Technology Corporation, Woodcliff Lake, NJ for the following items: 1) 9 ea. G4DSP-7410-441B4 6U VME Single Board DSP Processor Circuit Card Assemblies, Rev. 5; 2) 6 ea. PPC4-750-4000B04 6U VME Single Board Computer Circuit Card Assemblies, Rev. 10; 3) Option I: 3 ea. additional units of the G4DSP-7410-441B4 6U VME Single Board DSP Processor. These two cards are used on the Advanced Common torpedo Guidance Control Box. The cards must be capable of replacing/sparing the existing cards, so they must be compatible with the current configuration of the hardware and software architecture, requiring that the be purchased on a Sole Make and Model Basis. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source using SAP and commercial item procedures as set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 28 March 2003 will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NAICS: 334419.
