Description

Shower Facility at Diamond Lake Campground on the Diamond Lake Ranger District 82 miles east of Roseburg, OR; Work includes demolition of an existing restroom facility, construction of a concrete masonry unit building with concrete foundation, glulam roof members, metal roofing with solar panels and skylights, solar water heating system, radiant floor heating, all mechanical and electrical work, site work, access trail construction, paving and associated construction work for a recreation campground shower facility; Base items and separately priced option items for related work are included; Work is to be completed by November, 2004; This is a Request For Proposals; In addition to price proposals offerors are required to complete a project specific questionnaire providing information regarding past performance history, technical capability, work coordination, quality control and safety management; Detailed Technical Proposals are not required; Award evaluation criteria include technical capability and past performance history in addition to price; Award may be made without discussions; The solicitation is not expected to be posted until after snow-melt in the area; A pre-proposal meeting is planned for which the time and date will be specified in the solicitation package posted at this site; The project magnitude is in the range between $250,000 and $500,000 including the option items; NAICS Code 233320; Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided.
