Description

Diamond Lake Loop Road Asphalt Overlay on the Diamond Lake Ranger District 80 miles east of Roseburg, OR; Work includes 38 mm hot bituminous asphalt overlay, shoulder aggregate, miscellaneous intersection work, and traffic marking not to exceed $280,000; additional work includes isolated tree root removal and sub-grade repair, out-sloping work and pavement markings; The project site covers a recreation area access loop road of approximately 8 kilometers surrounding Diamond Lake; Option items are included for riprap work, gabion retaining walls, excavation and embankment, aggregate base, additional asphalt paving, traffic marking and related road repair activities; Work is to be completed by October 31, 2003; The solicitation is not expected to be posted until after snow-melt in the area; This is a Request For Proposals; In addition to price proposals Offerors are required to complete a project specific Questionnaire providing information regarding past performance history, technical approach, equipment capability, work sequencing, quality control and traffic control; Detailed Technical Proposals are not required; Award evaluation criteria include technical approach and past performance history in addition to price; Award may be made without discussions; The project magnitude is in the range between $250,000 and $500,000 including the option items; NAICS Code is 234110. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided.
