Description
NA On behalf of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations and Environment (ASA(I&E)), the executive agency for the National Defense Center for Environmental Excellence (NDCEE) program sponsored through the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Environment, Safety and Occupational Health (DASA(ESOH)) and in accordance with FAR 6.101, the Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W) expects to have a Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) available on or about 6 April 2003. This requi rement is for contractor support for the NDCEE program. The NDCEE functions as a national resource for the development and dissemination of state-of-the-art and new and innovative environmental technologies and provides a means for transitioning those tec hnologies to the solution of environmental problems in support of the Department of Defense (DOD), other government agencies, and private industry needs. The mission of the NDCEE is to systematically structure a program to address DOD's environmental tech nology requirements by defining and staffing a management, technical, and financial organization for the operation and administration of the NDCEE program, The program will systematically assess along with DOD-designated organizations to determine and prio ritize the nature, seriousness, and potential solutions in technology need areas. Copies of the incumbent contract, DAAE30-98-C-1050, are available by submitting a FOIA request to The Office of Chief Advocate (OCA), Attn: Ms. Suzanne Council, 5200 Army P entagon, Washington, DC 20310, FAX # 703/693-5735. This is a notice for all interested parties to submit requests for the Draft RFP. The anticipated date for issue of a draft RFP is on or about 6 April 2003. The date for issue of the Final RFP is on or about 5 June 2003. Interested firms may obtain electronic copies of the RFP at http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/services/RFP1.asp. Questions/comments pertaining to the draft RFP may be sent via Email Patricia.Denard@hqda.army.mil with a courtesy email cop y to consuelo.reyes-salas@hqda.army.mil (the preferred medium). Questions may also be sent to the attention of Pat Denard, DSS-W, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, D.C. 20310-5200. This office must receive any questions on the Draft RFP within 20 days fro m publication of the Draft RFP. This is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract with an anticipated award date o/a 15 November 2003 for an estimated value of $350 million.
