NA This announcement is a Request for Information (RFI). This is not a request for proposal and no award will be made as a result of this announcement. The information received as a result of this announcement will be used for market research purposes. The United Sates Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking preliminary marketing information from perspective companies to determine the feasibility of conducting an economic study within the St Paul District. The St Paul District is seeking information conce rning its potential requirement to contract for a comprehensive marketing research study on the Leech Lake recreational area near Federal Dam Minnesota. The project entails enhancing the quality and diversity of recreational opportunities afforded by the property, expanding its marketability, estimating its potential marketability under alternative future scenarios, and improving its return on investment. A draft statement of work outlining the specific project requirements may be viewed at the following URL: https://mvpwww.mvp.usace.army.mil/EBS/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp. The St Paul District is seeking information on possible sources, industry commentary concerning the draft statement of work, examples of similar efforts performed in the private secto r and feedback on the industry?s interest in the requirement. Respondents are asked to provide at a minimum: (1) a ballpark cost estimates for completing a study of this size; (2) examples of similar projects performed (3) constructive feedback on the requirement?s draft statement of work (4) a brief description of t he respondent?s capability to perform the objectives of the draft statement of work. The requested information is for planning purposes, and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. However, the St P aul District will utilize the information for technical and acquisition planning. It is recognized that any cost information provided by the contractor is a preliminary estimate for planning purposes; the contractor will not be bound to these estimates. Su bsequent acquisitions may follow in the ways to best meet the government?s needs. The government invites comments related to possible purchase or acquisition strategies. If there is a GSA or other contract vehicle already available for the services being p roposed, please include this information in the response. All data received in response to this RFI marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from release outside the government. It is not the intent of St Paul District to re imburse providers for the cost of submitting information in response to this RFI. The Government will not return pictures, documents, graphs or interrelated requested information.
