Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for the following: 0001). Mechanical Seal Conversion Kit, 4 each, per Buffalo Pump Inc., P/N 5000-0007-01, No. 82 Split Seal, John Crane Type 34FS with Type 73 inflatable Seal for installation on Buffalo Pump Inc. 12-HSSV Pump with 2.625-inch dia. Shaft. 0002). Seal Replacement Repair Kit, 4 Kits, for John Crane Split Seal Type 34FS with Type 73 Inflatable Seal for Installation on Buffalo Pump Inc., 12-HSSV Pump with 2.625 inch dia shaft. To be negotiated on a sole source basis with Buffalo Pump Inc. The Split Seals are proprietary per Drawing #NSP-00319 and U.S. patent #51. Buffalo Pumps has exclusive rights to manufacture the seals. A determination by the government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The required delivery date is 01 October 2003. Delivery shall be to Naval Air Station North Island San Diego, CA 92135. This commercial acquisition will be negotiated in accordance with FAR part 12. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about 28 March 2003, with offers due on or about 04 April 2003.
