Description

The Mint is hereby publishing a Request for Industry Comment on the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Operation of the Mint's Human Resources Department. The release of this Draft PWS is part of a study in accordance with OMB Circular A-76. This request for industry comment will remain open through April 8, 2003. Several discrepancies were discovered on the original PWS and this action will give all parties a fair opportunity to have their issues addressed. After the comment period the Mint plans to issue a solicitation for private sector proposals. Note: The final version of this PWS will be included in a solicitation for goods or services necessary for carrying out the programs or operations of the United States Mint. Provisions of law governing procurement or public contracts shall not be applicable to the procurement of goods or services necessary for carrying out Mint programs and operations. See 31 U.S.C. ? 5136.
