Description
Contractor is to furnish Architect/Engineering Services for new construction and renovation in the field of housing and healthcare for the aging, General Architectural, Historical Preservation, Interior Design, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Geotechnical, Surveying and Title II services. inspectors. Services include, but are not limited to: production of design development, construction plans and specifications, construction cost estimates; concept and feasibility studies; land surveys; field engineering investigations; site visits; submittal reviews; and Title II inspection of projects under construction. This is not a Request for Proposal. Firms wishing to be considered must submit a current Standard Form 254 and 255 no later than 8 March 2002. Due to the recent anthrax threat, contractors are requested to submit their 254 and 255 packages via Fedex or other carrier services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541310 and the Size Standard is $4 million. USSAH will evaluate each potential offeror in terms of its: (a) professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (b) specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required, including, where appropriate, experience in energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction, and the use of recovered materials; (3) capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4) past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; (5) location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; provided, that application of this criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the nature and size of the project; and (6) acceptability under other appropriate evaluation criteria. The Government intends to award a fixed price indefinite quantity indefinite delivery contract for a basic year period and one (1) option year period. Minimum guaranteed amount is $5,000.
