- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issued; quotations are being requested and no other further solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number for this Request for Quotation is F9RPMS30560200, a request to repair and upgrade the Base security system, which closes on 4 April 2003, 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-07. This procurement is set aside for small businesses with an assigned NAICS Code of 561621. The 109th Airlift Wing, Stratton Air National Guard Base , Scotia, New York is soliciting for a new ?head-end? to the existing security system (SimplexGrinnell AC140FB or approved equal); provide and install two high security interfaces (SimplexGrinnell FSKT/R or approved equal); provide and install twenty rever sing modules (SimplexGrinnell AM101 or approved equal); provide programming, testing and training for new equipment; provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to complete and operate system. Contractor must submit drawings and submittals to the Government prior to the installation. The contractor will be responsible for any other items that are not specifically identified but are required to provide an operating system. The Government will provide all DoD standards related to the security syst em. The Government will provide a tour of the facility to show areas that are not currently meeting the DoD standards. Contractor will have this project completed within four weeks of receipt of required equipment and start of work. As a minimum offerors must show (1) the solicitation number; (2) the time specified in the solicitation for receipt of offers; (3) the name, address and telephone number of the offeror; (4) price and discount terms; (5) remittance ad dress, if different than mailing address. Offerors on GSA schedule are preferred. The Government reserves the right not to award to the lowest price.
