Description
The USCG Aircraft Repair & Supply Center is seeking quotes for the calibration and/or calibration and repair of a variety of electronic equipment and mechanical tools using a Contractor-provided mobile calibration lab in accordance with the Calibrated Equipment Master List. This acquisition is a total 100% small business set-aside, NAICS is 334515, size standard is 500 employees. Contractor?s are required to be at a minimum ISO 9001:2000 certified. ISO certification to be provided with Contractor?s quotation. Services shall be performed at the Coast Guard Aircraft Repair & Supply Center, Elizabeth City, NC. The period of performance for this contract is one base year from the date of Award through 30 September 2003 plus 4 one year option periods through 30 September 2007. The total duration of this contract shall not exceed 5 years. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. Quotes will be evaluated under Best Value source selection procedures in the following order of precedence: 1.) Experience, 2.) Past Performance, and 3.) Price. The offeror?s experience is the most important factor with past performance second and price third. Only experience and past performance will be weighted. However, the more technically equal the quotes are, the more important price becomes. Due to the complexity of the requirement, all contractors are strongly encouraged to attend an on-site inspection at USCG Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Building #63, Elizabeth City, North Carolina on April 8th, 2003 at 9:00 am Eastern Standard Time. If a Contractor chooses not to attend and submits an offer, there is a possibility that the requirement will not fully be understood and the offeror?s quote may be evaluated as a high risk. All costs associated with on-site inspection shall be borne by Contractor. Solicitation packages will be provided to contractors attending the On-Site Inspection on April 8th, 2003 at USCG, ARSC, Elizabeth City, NC. or provided at request beginning April 8th, 2003. The closing date for receipt of quotes is 6 May 2003, 2:p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The anticipated Award date will be May 27th, 2003.
