Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 03Q-00 is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-07. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is: 448190 and the small business size standard is 750 employees or $5 million. The Government intends to negotiate for the following items: Item 001-T Shirts, 90% Cotton & 10% Polyester, 5.6oz minimum (heavy weight cotton or greater), light oxford or ash gray with black imprint on front, and white bar on back, two needle hem. Front with imprint ? inch black lettering on left chest, ?JJRTC? in New Courier type. Back with white bar approximately 4 inches from the neck, 3 inches by 13 inches centered. Quantities required for T Shirts are the following: 100 Small, 300 Medium, 1050 Large, 1100 X-Large, 650 2X-Large, 50 3X-Large. Item 002: Shorts, outer layer 100% nylon micro mesh, inner layer of 100% nylon. Tricot lining, very full cut, covered elastic waistband with inside drawstring, 7 inch inseam. Front left leg embroidered with ? inch white lettering 3 inches from the bottom, ?JJRTC? centered. Navy Blue color. Quantities required for Shorts: 40 Small, 200 Medium, 500 Large, 504 X-Large, 50 2X-Large, 6 3X-Large. Item 003-Sweat Shirts, 50% Polyester, 50% Cotton full cut, athletic weight 9.0 oz, fleece crewneck rib-knit neck, cuffs & bottom band, set in sleeves coverstitch detailing. Front left chest, embroidered ? inch white lettering ?JJRTC?. Back, imprint white bar approximately 4 inches from the neck, 3 inches by 13 inches centered. Navy Blue color. Quantities required for Sweat Shirts: 20 Small, 75 Medium, 200 Large, 200 X-Large, 150 2X-Large, 10 3X-Large. Item 004- Sweat Pants, 50% Polyester, 50% Cotton. Full cut athletic, weight 9.0 oz. Fleece pull-on pants, covered elastic waistband, inside waist drawstring, elastic leg bottom, two needle covered. Front leg embroidered ? inch white lettering ?JJRTC? 11 inches from the top of the pants, centered on left pocket. Navy Blue color. Quantities required for Sweat Pants: 20 Small, 75 Medium, 225 Large, 225 X-Large, 100 2X-Large, 10 3X-Large. The US Secret Service will request samples of each item from a selected number of vendors. The selection will be based on best value of the items. The following FAR Provisions and Clauses are applicable unless otherwise noted: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items: There are no addenda to the provision. 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial items; 52.212-2, is applicable to this solicitation. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offer Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items with its offer. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items, applies. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Quotations must contain pricing for the line items plus complete specifications for any equal of better product to allow evaluation of quotes. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs accrued by the vendor in preparation of answering this solicitation.
