- PLEASE CONTACT BRIAN GARRET, 530-573-2617, IF THERE ARE TECHNICAL QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS SOLICITATION. The intent of this solicitation is to construct defensible space, hazard tree removal, and pest and disease management on 15 National Forest Urban Lots in the Heavenly Valley area on the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. It includes falling, limbing, bucking and removal of merchantable and non-merchantable woody material and brush; slash chipping and/or removal. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting. Exact day and time will be provided in the solicitation. Work is expected to start around 16, 2003. The solicitation will be posted on FEDBIZOPS on 4/14/03. Responses are due on 05/05/03 at close of business (4:30 pm)
