Description
NA The Comanche Program Manager’s Office (PMO) Multi-Sensor Utilization and Integration for Targeting Enhancement (M-SUITE) Program requires the use of a uniquely equipped and instrumented Longbow Apache with Fire Control Radar and Comanche Radar Antenna to s upport Radar/Infrared ‘Imagery Sensor Fusion algorithm development. The data collected during the effort will be provided to the M-SUITE Program that is developing the Aided Target Recognition algorithms that will be provided as Government Furnished Infor mation to the Comanche contractor. The Forward Looking Infrared Receiver (FLIR)/Radar sensor fusion in the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) Program is a requirement to achieve aided/auto target recognition during high speed wide area search , both on the move and from hover, and against stationary and moving targets. This capability will shorten the sensor to shooter time line, thereby enhancing lethality and survivability of the RAH-66 Comanche, and provide enhanced target recognition perfo rmance over single sensor capabilities. The contractor shall provide support to the helicopter platform with integrated Comanche radar and instrumentation pallet to be used in data collection efforts to support the M-SUITE Program. The contractor will pr ovide support to the M-SUITE Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) 2003 data collection during a four-week data collection scheduled for execution during Summer 2003. Contractor shall provide support for aircraft operations of Peripheral Vision Display-027 (PVD-027) LBA Longbow Functional Capability Requirement instrumentation and data collection activities. Contractor to support the sensor fusion integrated product team in formulating the detailed data collection plan to provide onsite support at YPG for two months prior to start of M-SUITE YPG 2003 data collection. Contractor shall provide on-site representation at daily test activities during the data collection activities. This requirement is sole source to Boeing Helicopter, 5000 E. McDowell Road, Mesa, AR 8521 5. This synopsis is for information purposes only. Please see note 22.
