Description

This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ ME-03-0327-01. All Statement of Need and Evaluation Factor requirements must be met as they appear in this notice. This procurement is being issued as UNRESTRICTED. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12 and Defense Acquisition Circular 2003-03-01. NAICS Code 335222 (Household Refrigerator and Home Freezer Manufacturing) applies to this procurement. DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS: This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: Qty: 44 - Delivery and installation of a GE p/n JBP35W or equal, Self-Cleaning Electric Range: approx dimensions (44 7/16 in x 27 3/4 in x 30 in) Color Appearance: White on White. Qty 44 - Delivery and installation of a GE p/n WX9X35 or equal, Electric Range Cord, 40 amp, 4-wire, 4 foot. Qty 44 - Delivery and installation of a GE p/n GTS22WC or equal, Top-Freezer Refrigerator with Icemaker: approx dimensions: 67 1/2 in x 33 5/8 in x 32 7/8 in, CAPACITY: 21.7, Color Appearance: Biscuit-on-Biscuit. All tubing and hard wear must be included in the quote for the installation of the icemaker. Note*: Vendor must supply all tools and materials needed for installation of all appliances. Vendors are also responsible for the removal and disposal of all packaging material of all appliances. WARRANTY: Warranty information should provide the following: · A contractual right for the correction of defects or any other requirements of the contract pertaining to acceptance of supplies by the government. · Specified time, use, or event that occurs, after acceptance by which the government must assert a contractual right for defect correction.
