Description

The Department of Homeland Security, Border and Transporation Security, United States Customs Service intend to award a sole source delivery order directly to Gould Publications, 1333 North U.S. Highway 17-92, Longwood, FL 32750-3724. The contractor is to provide ?Customs Law Handbook,: 2003 Edition (option #3) which includes the Handbook, the ?Law Course for Customs Officers?, and the Case Law Companion?, Second Edition together with hardcopy versions of said documents and CDROM. The Handbook is proprietary and the sole publication available that includes all references containing Customs related specific statutes necessary for the U S Customs Service.The U.S. Customs Service intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document will be made available. A determination not to compete this proposed delivery order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the U.S. Customs Service. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of price comparisons only.
