Description
Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials and equipment and supervision necessary to renovate units 2D and 2E, Building 110, Augusta VA Medical Center, Uptown Division. The renovation work includes removal of over-bed lights, carpet, cork boards, cabinet tracks, paper towel dispenser, soap dispenser, sink, and bed signs with clips; painting and patching of walls; construction gypsum metal stud wall with two (2) doors; installing carpet; and 2x4 surface mounted fluorescence fixtures. All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard acceptable building practices. All work shall be performed pursuant to all local, state and federal regulations. In-house drawings (3 sheets) indicate pre-bid site visit is required. Interested parties are to contract the following: For 2D: Ms. Julie M. Choate (706-733-0188, ext. 2096. For 2E: Ms. Cindy Rogers (706-481-6724) or Ms. Suzanne Jene (706-731-7158). DO NOT CONTACT THE CONTRACTING OFFICER TO ARRANGE SITE VISITS. Cost range is between $25,000 to $100,000. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone Program (HUBZone) small business concerns. The applicable NAICS code is 233320 with a size standard of $28.5 million. The solicitation and drawings will be issued on April 14, 2003. Due to the short turn-around time for response (2:00 p.m. April 25, 2003), packages will be sent via FedEx to all interested parties. Said parties are required to notify the Contracting Officer via fax (478-274-5577) or email (Sylvia.Henry@med.va.gov) utilizing company letterhead that clearly identified company, address, telephone and fax numbers. Any questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing to the Network Contracting Officer (10N7/NLO), VA Medical Center, One Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904-6285 or via fax number as stated above. Telephone requests will not be accepted. The Contracting Officer will provide any amendments issued to this solicitation to each recipient both via U.S. Mail system and email system.
