- Description
- The VA Boston Healthcare System, 150 S.Huntington Ave, Boston, MA ha= s a requirement for Perfusion Kits which are used on every open heart surgery case performed here . It is the VA=92s intention to solicit proposals to all businesses and award a contract on a competitive basis to a preferred provider who can supply these kits to the government at a rate of approximately 40 every other month. BIDS/OFFERS ARE NOT BEING SOLICTED AT THIS TIME. A request for quotations will be issued at a later time. Companies interested in having their items evaluated for possible inclusion should carefully review the items listed below.=20 These kits consist of the following items- HEPARIN BONDED 1) Oxygenator- heparin bonded, plasma resistant fibers, with prime <300 cc 2) Cardioplegia pack- 4:1 blood ratio with bypass shunt pre-pump head that is heparin bonded with pressure pop-off and pressure monitoring capability 3) Arterial filter-38um heparin bonded with bypass loop 4) Collapsible venous reservoir heparin bonded 1600cc-2000cc volume capacity with =20 =20 recirc line (=BC x 1/16 inch) that is 14 inches long connected to =BC X =BC= X =BC y connector with 3 inches piece ( =BC X 1/16 inch) with =BD X 1/2/1/4 = y connector on venus inlet 5) Centrifugal pump- preferably heparin bonded with ability to pulse. 6) Pressure Isolator- 24 inches 7) Table Pack =96 double wrapped a)=09Venus arterial loop- heparin bonded, 68 inches 3/8 tubing X 3/32 inches wall thickness, 68 inches =BD in tube 3/32 inch thickness connected to a 5um pre-bypass filter. b)=09Vent Line- 154 inches long, =BC inch tubing with wall thickness of 1/16 inch with 1 =BD X =BD inch connector and 1 3/8 X =BD inch lorlock connector.=20 8) Tubing Pack- all heparin bonded a)=093/8 inch tubing with wall thickness of 3/32 inch, 3 pieces each 10 inch long b)=093/8 inch tubing with wall thickness of 3/32 inch connected to a 3/8X 3/8/1/4 inch y-connector with a 3/8 tubing with wall thickness 3/32 inch that is 16 inches long, off the =BC inch y-connector, a 20 inch =BC X 1/16 inch tubing. c)=0924 inches 1/2X 3/32 inch tubing d)=0924 inch 3/8X3/32 inch tubing connected to a 3/8X3/8X1/4 inch connector with an 8 inch piece of 3/8 tubing and a sterile cap on a =BC inch connector, at end of 3/8 inch tubing, a 3/8X1/2 connector, =BD inch tubing 6 inches long by 3/32 connected to 1/2X 3/8 connector with 4 inch long of 3/8 tubing with sterile cap. e)=09A Y 1/4X 1/16 inch dual quick prime line that is 28 inch long. f)=09=BC inch perfusion adaptor. =20 NON HEPARIN BONDED 1) 96 inch 1/4X 1/16 with sterile caps at both ends a)=092 inch dead end that is 1/4X 1/16 tubing=20 b)=093/8 X =BC inch connector c)=09One 13 inch, One 20 inch, One 36 inches =96 all male-male with one way valve (purge lines) d)=09One 36 inch pressure line male-male e)=09Seven 3 way high flow stop-cock, One 3 stop-cock manifold 2) 1 Terumo CDI =BD x =BD inch sat hematrocit connector a)=09One CDI500 shunt sensor b)=09Two Somanetics Oxysensors (adult soma-sensor) 3) Box dimension =96 30 inches long by 16.5 wide and 8 inch deep Questions reqarding these kits should be directed thru the Contracting Officer Steven Lawson 617-232-9500 ex5527 or e-mail address steven.Lawson@med.va.gov and will be directed to the COTR .
