Description

NA The Northern Region Contracting Center (NRCC) intends to award a contract on a sole-source basis to the United Kingdom International Defense Training (ARMY) with the British Army?s Defense Animal Centre. This action requires an initial screening of potent ial Mine Detection Dogs (MDD), the procurement of the best-qualified dogs, and the training of dogs and their handlers for countermine and counter booby trap operations in combat and hazardous urban environments and to develop and provide all training prod ucts and materials (lesson plans and doctrine) required to effectively sustain the MDD Unit. This requirement is not for humanitarian demining operations. The applicable NAICS Code is 928110 with a size standard of $6 million. The proposed action is ant icipated to be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price Contract with one (1) 12-month Base Period and two (2) 12-month Option Periods. See Numbered Note 22.
