Description

Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to construct 2.6 miles of 4-wire barbed wire fence, (smooth bottom wire), 2.6 miles of 3-wire all barbed fence, plus removal and disposal of 2.6 miles of 32 inch high woven fence with 1 or 2 strands of top barbed wire, 473 non ribbed 5 1/2 foot steel posts, and 124 wood posts. Contractor shall furnish 1) Mobilization 2) 828 rods - barbed wire fence, 4 wire 3) 816 rods - barbed wire fence, 3 wire 4) 828 rods - fence removal, 5 wire 5) 11 each - barbed wire end panel , type 1 6) 12 each - barbed wire stree panel 7) 15 each - three corner post 8) 1 each - five post corner 9) 9 each - barbed wire gate. Contractor will have 104 days to complete project after Notice to Proceed is issued. All awards over $25,000 will require 100% payment protection. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. See Note 1. SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ON OR AROUND APRIL 14, 2003. To obtain this solicitation you must go to website "http://ideasec.nbc.gov". Project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000.
