Description

Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division intends to issue a Request for Quotation for Polyurethane Foam (PUF) roof repairs at the NMCRC in Augusta Ga. This procurement will use the methods prescribed in FAR 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). The scope of work includes cleaning and repairing any damaged or deteriorated polyurethane foam and recoating all of the existing polyurethane foam roofing. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) is unrestricted it will be awarded as a firm fixed-price purchase order not to exceed 30 days from the date of award. The estimated magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. No new work can be issued after award of initial contract. Offerors must also be registered in the Contractors Central Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement. The website for CCR is http://www.ccr2000.com. NAICS (formerly SIC) is 235610/238160 and Size Standard is $12M. Label lower right corner of outside mailing envelope with "Polyurethane Roof Repair, Augusta, 03-Q-1858". The government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. This is NOT a request for proposal. Site visits will not be arranged during advertisement period. RFQ release on or about 21 April 2003. Quotes will be due approximately 15 days after release.
