, Ref Nr N/A, Qty 538 EA, Deliver to Def Dist Depot San Diego San Diego CA --The Naval Inventory Control Point in Coordination with Naval Air Systems CommanElectronics Program Office (PMA209) intends to procure an A/A24G-39 Attitude Heading Reference System, form, fit, enchanced function replacement. Present configuration consists of dual, independent AHRS systems on the HH-60H, SH-60B and SH-60F helicopters. Additional capabilities being sought are magnetic heading sensing with in-flight compass calibration capability, two second internal power hold-up, Built-in-Test and Mean Flight Time Before Failure of at least 7,500 hours. This procurement will be supported by an Organizational to Depot maintenance philosophy. The projected procurement quantity range is 538 to 600 systems with associated equipment and documentation. Interested sources must be able to demonstrate their ability to: satisfy existing system form, fit, enhanced function, and interface (F3I) Integration; delivery of evaluation units within five months after contract award; deliver production systems within five months after completion of Government verification testing at a rate of 80 systems per month. The replacement AHRS will be a non-developmental item. It will require qualification testing and verification to the current environmental and performance requirements for the H-60 helicopter variants including shipboard operations.\ The selected vendor will be required to demonstrate the capability for depot repair.\The Navy will not pay for product research, development, qualification testing, repackaging, redesign and/or information received in response to the announcement.*****
