Description
The purpose of this amendment is to make an administrative change to the performance specification for clarification purposes, provide answers to questions received in response to the solicitation and extend the due date and time for receipt of proposals. Accordingly, the solicitation is hereby changed as follows: Under FAR Clause Addendum, ADDENDUM TO FAR 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS -- COMMERCIAL ITEMS, the due date for receipt of proposals is hereby changed from 01 April 2003, 11:00 AM EST to 08 April 2003, 11:00 AM EST. In an attempt to resolve outstanding questions which have been raised concerning the specification, the following information is provided: - of the 4 cameras, 2 must have night time viewing capabilities. - Camera must be able to view out to 150 m and the picture must be clear enough to distinguish a human from an animal. - Relay information/video to a remot device such as a lap-top or PDA to increase situational awareness to person investigating the intrusion; preferred scapability. - Cameras must sound an alarm at the Command Center when sensor is activated and indicate which camera was activated. - System must function should all 4 cameras be activated simultaneously. - Provide information on battery life, minimum 24 hour requirement. - Provide OT&E results and/or relevant references. - Provide spec sheets on all components. - Minimum One-Year Warranty - Capable of delivery within 180 days of CA to designated unit. - Cost under $100,000.00 - Requires minimal training and set up time and can be oeprated by a non-expert in the technology. - System has the potential for expansion and additional cameras. - System must be operational in an URBAN environment within the distances specified above, 300 meters from camera to monitoring unit, and relay to remote device.
