- Description
- The General Services Administration seeks sources for leasing existing or build to suit commercial office space. Expressions of interest should include offers of approximately 27,000 to 28,500 ANSI/BOMA rentable square feet of office and related space will provide a minimum of 23,500 and maximum of 25,500 of contiguous BOMA usable square feet. A minimum of 59 on-site parking spaces should be included. The lease term is for approximately 10 years and occupancy is required on or about September 30, 2003. Space should be located in a prime commercial area with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design, tasteful rehabilitation in modern use or new construction. Buildings offered must be of sound and substantial construction of the type recognized as modern Class-A office type building having fully adequate means of ingress and egress, must be altered or constructed to meet the government requirements, and must be fully serviced. Streets and public sidewalks should be well maintained. Regularly scheduled public transportation and/or sufficient parking should be available within two city blocks to cover employee commuting and visitor needs. Sites submitted should be within the following delineated area: From the intersection of West End Blvd and Robert E. Lee, west on Robert E. Lee, south on Lake Ave; west on W Esplanade Ave; south on Clearview Parkway, east on I-10, east on I-610 north on West End Blvd to Robert E. Lee. The Government will only consider expressions of interest made by offerers with documentation of ownership or control of the offered sites. If an agent or representative makes an expression of interest, documentation of specific authority signed by the owner must be provided to qualify for consideration.
