- Description
- The Library of Congress intends to issue a delivery order against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to renew a subscription with InfoUSA, Inc. (AI) for the continued use and access of their services for the following FEDLINK member: CBUV. InfoUSA, provides access to over 11 million U.S. and Canadian business records which include company name, address, phone number, SIC codes, name of owner, number of employees, and annual sales volume. In addition to the business component is a database of 115 million US households and 11 million Canadian households. Users need a PC and modem to gain instant access. There are no minimums, no waiting, and complete control over the information. Users can perform counts for statistical analysis of existing or potential markets or locate additional vendors or suppliers. InfoUSA's fixed media CD-ROM allows users to analyze any given marketplace by SIC code, number of employees, sales volume, geographic location, franchise specialty, small business owners, etc. The storage capacity of the CD-ROM allows access to the database of over 10 million unique business establishments. Users can perform market research and analysis, find out more about a particular business, or produce in-depth profiles of individual businesses. InfoUSA offers Web access to ReferenceUSA, a database of 11 million business locations and 195 million individuals. A magnetic tape version of their database is available for local mounting and access and contains the 185 million item consumer file. Services will be continued through September 30, 2003. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. No telephone calls will be accepted. WRITTEN RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE PRICES AND TECHNICAL DATA SUFFICIENT TO DETERMINE CAPABILITY. No award will be based on any offer or proposal received in response to this notice. (See Note 22).
