Description

The U.S. Coast Guard will issue a solicitation for the following service utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures: Item 01 - Provide all materials, equipment, and labor to fabricate, install, maintain on station, and remove 29 navigational aids buoys on the Kuskokwim River for the 2003 summer season. Item 02 - Provide price of fabrication, installation and removal of 5 additional buoys, which may be ordered at the option of the Contracting Officer. Performance shall be in accordance with the standards contained in the Statement of Work and applicable purchase order clauses contained in the solicitation. This solicitation will be Small Business set-aside. The NAICS Code is 332313. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price. The solicitation will be posted to this web-site for downloading on or about 20 March 2003 and shall close on or about 04 April 2003. The following notice is for informational purposes: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
