- SP010003Q4037 This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The actual RFQ, with information and specifications will be available on the Gateway website (see instructions below) after MARCH 19, 2003. -------------- See Notes # 1, 9 and 26. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside ---- BUY AMERICAN ACT applies. ----- ITEM: This is an acquisition for the item: COVER, MARITIME BALL; 650 each (NSN 8345-00-782-3468). Cover is made in accordance with MIL-S-29108A and drawings 16-1-224, REV A (Jan 4, 1972) and 16-1-226, REV C (June 3, 1979). One 100% quantity option year will be included. One first article sample will be due 90 days after date of award and shipments to Phoenix, AZ and New Cumberland, PA will begin 180 days after award. ------All contractors MUST be CCR registered and have a CAGE code. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. -------INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETRIEVING RFQ------Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/home/ after March 19, 2003. From the Gateway home page, select 'Search RFQs' from the left-hand sidebar. Then select 'solicitation'. Type the solicitation number (SP010003Q4134) and 'search'. Click the number to download the file (this may take several minutes). In addition, you can enter DSCP C&T FSCs and NSNs to receive notification of RFQs. The Gateway will send all registered users an e-mail notification of RFQ solicitations based on your FSC and NSN profile. The NSN notification will contain a link that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
